Moving Forward with the AllianceThe Alliance to Save Marin General Hospital is moving forward in supporting the Healthcare District Board in the transition from Sutter management to the establishment of a stand-alone hospital. Several members of the Alliance have been working with the District CEO, Lee Domanico to obtain financing from local sources to supply the working capital needs at takeover, June 30, 2010. In a sense events have overtaken us; recent disclosures of additional fund transfers from MGH to Sutter have resulted in newspaper articles and editorials questioning the propriety of these actions. All of these documents are linked to this website for your information. Among other goals for the Alliance is to start planning for the District Board 2010 election. We must keep a strong and dedicated Board to complete the transition and carry out an effective initial operation of the new Marin General Hospital.
